As a member of executive growth strategy committees he directed clinical recruitment strategies for $750 million in new construction or improvements including, Ivy League Medical School, dozens of Hospitals, 2 new Children’s Hospitals, new Sarah Cannon Research Center, new NIH Cancer Center, multiple free standing ED and Urgent Care centers and numerous physician practice acquisitions. He worked closely with his corporate general counsel to ensure compliance in negotiating and executing recruiting and employment agreements.
Corey believes in leading by example and has personally recruited over 650 talented medical professionals representing almost every specialty. His experience includes the complete array of settings, rural to urban, critical access facilities, Ivy League medical schools, community hospitals, Level 1 Trauma Centers, start-up companies, public, and private facilities of all sizes and structures.
More importantly, he implemented the MTM Mission and Values while earning letters of recommendation from candidates, colleagues, and executive leaders.
Throughout his career was consistently recognized and lauded as a top performer with multiple years of 90%tile CEO satisfaction surveys. He achieved the highest level "Frist Award" for 8 consecutive years at HCA including number 1 recruiter and multiple top 3 rankings. At TMF he has been awarded "Make a Difference", "3P Super Recruiter", " Partnership Excellence" and 2x nominee for "Extra Mile". While at HCA he developed a Quality Check Process (QCP) that has become a hallmark of his recruitment philosophy. Corey's professional career began in NYC as a TV, stage and commercial Talent Agent.

Born and raised in Canada, Corey was awarded a full scholarship at Arizona State University's Department of Sports Medicine. His career has led him to live in NYC, Laguna Beach, Denver, Austin and now Providence. Corey's free time is spent with his family and friends or on the ice, competing in his favorite sport. He was honored to serve as a student mentor at Hopewell Middle School in Round Rock, TX. His motivation comes from his twin teenage daughters that share his passion for horses and hockey.
In addition to his experience, Corey achieved Fellow Status in the Association For Advancement of Physician and Provider Recruitment, (AAPPR), and recently passed the update recertification exam to be recognized as a CertifiedC Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP) the professional organization exclusively for in-house physician recruitment professionals. AAPPR is the leading authority on physician recruitment and retention. As a certified Fellow you demonstrate to peers, employers, and physicians your commitment to continuing education and excellence in the discipline of physician recruitment. The program is the most comprehensive, authoritative resource for individuals seeking to develop and test their skills and knowledge within a broad spectrum of topics including physician/provider recruitment, onboarding and retention, human resources, and relevant legal issues.
